Lotte Trading Co. Ltd. is a full service trading company and the trading window of the Lotte Group, which is the 8th largest business group in Korea in terms of assets. The Lotte Group has a stable financial structure and has created the country's foremost domestic distribution system for a wide range of consumer products. The Lotte Group includes the following retail operations:
• Lotte Shopping operates the country's largest chain of department stores. The chain includes 19 Lotte stores with an average floor space of 12,000 sq. ft. and total annual revenues of USD 5.76 billion;
• Lotte Mart, a chain of 32 discount stores with average floor size of 2,500 sq. ft. and total annual revenue of USD 1.84 billion;
• 7-Eleven Korea, operating 1,400 convenient stores nationwide;
• Lotte Duty Free operating through 5 outlets in airports and other key locations and Lotte.com, the country's leading online retailer;
More recently the Lotte Group has also launched a chain of supermarkets, which is rapidly increasing its market-share in Korea. Other business areas in which the Lotte Group is active include hotels and tourism, leisure theme parks and the production of delicacies such as luxury chocolates.
Lotte Trading provides sourcing and importing services to all Lotte business units, leveraging the group's distribution system.
